Electrical and Electronic Technology

Department of Electrical and Electronic Technology (EET)

Our main objective is to prepare & send qualified students to autonomation, renewable and electrical related industries

At the Department of Electrical and Electronic Technology (EET) students learn the basics and fundamentals of electrical and electronic systems including skills in mechatronics and advanced automation.

This department offers specialization courses in Electrician, on NVQ Level 4, while courses on Mechatronics and Mechatronics Technology are offered on NVQ Levels 5 and 6 respectively.

Lecturers and instructors will focus on sharing knowledge in electrical installations, carrying out domestic single-phase electrical installation, installing domestic safety/ security and communications systems, and carrying out inspection, testing, fault finding, and repair in domestic electrical installations.

Students who had successfully completed these courses have secured significant job opportunities at the MAS, solar and wind power generation companies in the North, etc.
