Inception of the Vocational Training project
In 2010, the Government of Sri Lanka and the Federal Republic of Germany nurtured the idea of a new vocational training project for the regions affected by the war. In that year, GIZ conducted a feasibility study to determine the need for such an institute and to discuss the intended design and location.
